Bobbie Ruth Teal

Bobbie Ruth Teal, 71, of Mountain View, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on March 7, 2026. She was born on December 8, 1954, to John and Mamie (Andersen) Gaskill in Hobart, Oklahoma. Bobbie grew up and attended school in Mountain View, graduating from Mountain View High School in 1971. She met the love of her life, Dennis Teal, in first grade and they were united in marriage on June 14, 1975. Bobbie poured her heart into raising three children; Johnathan, Jamie, and Julie; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. This doesn’t include countless kids and adults that she loved as her own. Bobbie held a variety of assistant positions in the medical and finance fields, before deciding to go to nursing school and received her LPN license; a true caregiver at heart. Her greatest vocation was “friendmaking,” she wanted to know you and love on you. Her greatest friend was Jesus, who she counted as her Lord and Savior. Bobbie leaves a ripple effect of love and positivity matched by few. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. 
Survivors include her husband, Dennis Teal, Edmond, OK; children: Johnathan Teal and wife Sarah, Oklahoma City, OK, Jamie Hooper and husband Trae, Mountain View, OK, Julie Thompson and husband Tyler, Stillwater, OK; grandchildren: Emily Teal, Mountain View, OK, Landen Hooper, Mountain View, OK, Teal Hooper, Mountain View, OK, Cooper Teal, Oklahoma City, OK, Avery Teal, Oklahoma City, OK, Dax Johnson, Stillwater, OK, Lincoln Thompson, Stillwater, OK, Gracie Thompson, Stillwater, OK; great-grandchild: Traeden Hamlett, Mountain View, OK. She is also survived by her brother: James Gaskill and wife Phyllis, Saddle Mountain, OK; brother-in-law: Daryl Teal and wife Jan, Mountain View, OK, as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mamie Gaskill, and brother: Johnny Earl Gaskill.
Visitation was from 3- 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 10, 2026, and from 1-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Ray & Martha’s Funeral Home, Mountain View, Oklahoma. 
Funeral services were at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 12, 2026, at the First Baptist Church, Mountain View, Oklahoma.
Interment was in the Mountain View Cemetery, Mountain View, Oklahoma. 
Services were under the direction of Ray & Martha’s Funeral Home, Mountain View.
