Donald Lynn ‘Donnie’ Phyillaier

Donald Lynn “Donnie” Phyillaier was born on May 18, 1955, to Paul and Velma Phyillaier in Carnegie, Oklahoma.He became a Christian at a young age. He attended Carnegie Public Schools and was a graduate in the Class of 1973.
Donnie was very knowledgeable and talented. Among his many interests, he was a paramedic, pilot, a long-distance bike rider, an archer, and a shooting enthusiast. He found great pleasure as being a trail guide at the Wichita Mountains.
His love for the outdoors moved him to Minnesota to enjoy building igloos, making snow shoes, ice fishing, dog sledding and was a guide and teacher for the Minnesota State Park.
Donnie is survived by his three siblings: Virginia Maker and husband, Dale, Farmers Branch, TX, Philip Phyillaier, Elk City, OK, and Kathy Horn and husband, Mark, Carnegie, OK.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Velma, and sister-in-law, Alice Phyillaier.
Visitation was from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Ray & Martha’s Funeral Home in Carnegie, Oklahoma.
A memorial service was held at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Ray & Martha’s Funeral Home in Carnegie, Oklahoma.
Services were under the direction of Ray & Martha’s Funeral Home in Carnegie, Oklahoma.
