Jack Craddock

Jack Craddock was born on July 28, 1966, in Weatherford, Oklahoma, and passed away at his home in Apache, Oklahoma, on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the age of 59. Jack graduated from For Cobb High School in 1984. Jack started working at a young age pushing a lawn mower all over the Town of Binger to make money. He then started driving tractors for local farmers at 13 years old and then on to working for Richard Hendricks. While he was still in high school he took auto mechanics and electronics classes and obtained certificates. After graduation he went to work for various local car dealers and continued to progress his skills learning how to work on most all makes and models.  At 26 he opened his own automotive shop in Fort Cobb and continued to hone his skills and knowledge working for himself. Jack built his first race car a 66 Chevy Nova while he was operating his personal business. He loved having his daughter Kylee sitting in the car while he was working on it. Jack had a passion for anything with an engine. He never owned anything that remained in stock - it always received some kind of modification. He loved drag racing and was a proud member of both the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) and the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA), racing under the number K436. He raced at the local drag strips where he was so successful he rarely lost a race. Jack started working at WFEC on May 17, 1998 in the mechanics shop and further progressed his knowledge and skills until he advanced into the Fleet Supervisor role. Jack loved spending time teaching his son Tanner about motors and was always willing to share his knowledge and experience with those he loved. During this time, he decided he didn't have enough to do so he started Craddock Trucking  on the side while working for WFEC and operating Craddock Automotive at night on the weekends.
Jack married Lynda Walters on September 14, 2019 in the Island of Saint Lucia, West Indies.
Jack was also an accomplished cook and spent countless hours preparing and smoking meat for family functions. Thanksgiving was especially busy with prep starting on Tuesday and all-night cooking on Wednesday to be ready for the big Thanksgiving meal on Thursday. Jack was determined to be the best at anything he set his mind to and was never content with mediocracy. Jack had taken up a new hobby the last couple of years off roading/over landing with his wife. He started with a side-by-side riding trails all over Colorado, Arkansas and Oklahoma. Jack decided he wanted to have more freedom, so he upgraded to a jeep. Of course, the stock Rubicon X wasn't quite cutting it so he installed a lift kit, bigger tires, larger front and back bumper with a powerful enough wench to pull a semi. Jack was very pleased with the way his Jeep handled the Moab Utah trails and was looking to increase his tire size to 40's for the next trip out. He never did anything small or halfway. Go Big or Go Home.
Jack loved his mom and was determined to remodel her home to make it nicer. He started with the kitchen and didn't stop until he had taken it down to the studs and redone every room in the house. He always went above and beyond for those he loved.
Jack is survived by his loving wife, Lynda Craddock of the home in Apache; two children, Kylee Turner and husband, Dustin, of Pocasset, Oklahoma, and Tanner Craddock of Fort Cobb, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Gunner, Daxton, and Ryker Craddock, all of Fort Cobb; his mother Joyce Farrow of Fort Cobb; two stepdaughters, Taryn Gregory and husband, Randy of Binger, and Jera Love and husband, Walker, of Carnegie; three step-grandchildren, Rory, Tuf, and Libby Love of Carnegie; one brother, Steve Craddock of Cement; one sister, Holly Craddock of Chickasha; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kendra Craddock, and his grandparents.
Viewing will be at the Turner Funeral Home in Binger, Thursday from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm July 16, 2026.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. On Friday, July 17, 2026, at New Vision Church of God in Binger, Oklahoma, with Rev. Kevin Bartley officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Cobb Cemetery.
