Hank Frizzell

Hank Frizzell, 61, passed away on December 5, 2023, surrounded by his family. Hank was born on August 28, 1962, to Henry Lee & Lou Ann Frizzell in Clinton, OK. He grew up in and around Clinton & Weatherford. He was a proud graduate of Weatherford High School, Class of 1980, where he made lifelong friendships. He married the love of his life, Tammy Smith, on July 24, 1981. Together they had two children, Dylan & Jessy. Hank was a true family man, finding joy and fulfillment in the company of his loved ones. Hank’s love and support were unwavering, creating a bond that will endure beyond his physical presence. A passionate farmer and rancher, Hank worked the land with a determination that reflected his commitment to providing for his family and contributing to the community. His strong work ethic and resilience in the face of challenges were an inspiration to those around him. He had a unique way of making all those around him feel welcome. One of Hank’s greatest pleasures in life, aside from spending time with his family, was the freedom he found on the open road, riding his motorcycle with the wind in his hair and the thrill of the journey ahead. Whether it was a solo ride to clear his mind or a shared adventure with Tammy, the rumble of his bike echoed the spirit of adventure that defined him. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife, Tammy Frizzell, Mountain View, OK; children: Dylan Frizzell and wife, Carly, Yukon, OK and Jessy Frizzell, Weatherford, OK; grandchildren: Cooper Allen, Eleanor Ruth (Elly), Jack Leroy and one on the way. He is also survived by his parents, Henry and Lou Ann Frizzell, Butler, OK; brothers, Ron Frizzell, Byng, OK and Chuck Frizzell and wife, Erin, Edmond, OK; nephews, Zak Frizzell and wife, Paige, Byng, OK, Tyler Frizzell and Bree, Ada, OK, Aiden Frizzell, Edmond, OK, Kellen Frizzell, Edmond, OK; niece, Tanna Frizzell, Ada, OK, and a host of other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Wayland and Vi Frizzell and Delmar “Tommy” and Louise Stitt.

Funeral service were held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at United Methodist Church in Mountain View, OK. Visitation was from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, December 8, 2023 at Ray & Martha’s Funeral Home in Carnegie, OK.

Family visitation was from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, December 8, 2023, at Ray & Martha’s Funeral Home, Carnegie, OK. Interment was in the Mountain View Cemetery in Mountain View, OK.

Services were under the direction of Ray & Martha’s Funeral Home, Carnegie, OK.
