Joyce Marie Hill

Joyce Marie Hill passed away on July 13, 2024, in Binger, OK. She was born on April 21, 1939, to Pete and Ruth (Headrick) McLoud in Cowden, OK. She grew up and attended school in Cowden, graduating in 1956. Shortly after she graduated, she attended beauty school in Lawton. Joyce met and married the love of her life, Don, on January 15, 1958, in Lawton, OK. Together they raised their children in Carnegie, OK. Joyce spent a lot of her time being Don’s right hand. Whatever he needed, she was right there doing it. She enjoyed gardening, driving through the mountains, visiting with friends at the Hop-n-Sack, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include htepson, Donnie Hill and wife, Rosemarie, Marlow, OK; daughter, Doneitta Davis and husband, Bobby, Carnegie, OK; grandchildren: Justin Hill and wife, Diana, Lawton, OK, Cole Harrison and wife, Kristel Francis, Oklahoma City, OK, Sierra Davis, Moore, OK, Logan Davis, Carnegie, OK; great-grandchildren: Aubree, Josephine, and Leilani. She is also survived by her brother, Dale McLoud, Stillwater, OK and a host of other family and friends

She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Hill; daughter, Deniece Trent; parents, Pete and Ruth McLoud; gGranddaughter, Amanda Hill Butemeyer; and sister, Willa Lou Gonzalez.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 19, 2024, at the First Baptist Church in Carnegie, OK. Visitation was at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Ray & Martha’s Funeral Home in Carnegie, OK.

Interment was in the Sappington Chapel Cemetery in Mountain View, OK.

Services were under the direction of Ray & Martha’s Funeral Home in Carnegie, OK.
